Maka Chakhnashvili managed to make through to the main draw of the Perigueux tournament (France, 25 000 USD). The Georgian defeated No.9 Natalia Orlova of Russia 6:2, 6:1.
In the main draw No.3 seed Maka will play Diana Marcinkevica of Latvia.
Sofia Shapatava will play in the main draw of the Stuttgart-Vaihingen tournament (Germany, 25 000 USD). Her opponent will be found out later.
