Georgian basketball player Tornike Shengelia will play for “Chicago Bulls”. Some American sources (including, Yahoo Sports and ESPN) reports it. According to the deal, which will be signed in the next few days, “Nets” will receive Marquis Teague in exchange for Shengelia.
“Bulls” added Teague in the first round of the 2012 draft but because of the injuries, the club could not get benefit from him.
This transfer is good for the Georgian basketball player who did not have much playing time due to the greatest competition in “Brooklyn”. Shengelia will have more playing time in “Chicago” without any doubt.
“Bulls” has only one good player Mike Dunleavy on the position of the Georgian. So, “Toko” will have a chance for sure.
“Chicago” coached by Tom Thibodeau has 18 wins and 20 losses. The club is in the second place in Central Division and in the 6th place in Eastern Conference.
“Bulls” will hold the next game against “Philadelphia”. But, of course, Tornike will not be with his new team yet. Superstar Derrick Rose will not be able to help his club till the end of the season. He is treating his injury.
Another substitute basketball player Tyshawn Taylor is leaving “Brooklyn Nets”. He will play for “New Orleans Pelicans”.
