As it was expected, Georgian tennis player Anna Tatishvili lost to world No.1 Serena Williams of America 0:6, 1:6 in 51 minutes in the first round of the French Open.

Anna had 58% on the first serve. She used only 42%. The Georgian 32% points on the second serve. Tatishvili did not serve ace and had 3 double faults. Serena served 8 aces and had 1 double fault.

The Georgian tennis player had 5 winners and did not have a break-point. She lost her serve 5 times. Overall Tatishvili earned only 22 points and Williams – 56.

Anna lost the first round of “Roland Garros” and could not earn ranking points. She will participate in doubles draw with Olga Govortsova of Belarus. In the first round the Georgian-Belarusian duet will play against the French – Stephanie Foretz Gacon and Irena Pavlovic.

Another Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova will also compete in doubles draw. In the first round the Georgian and Alicja Rosolska of Poland will play against Irina Buryachok of Ukraine and Heather Watson of Great Britain.
