Georgian top seed Anna Tatishvili is in the city of Australia, Brisbane. She is preparing for the first tournament of the new season. The main draw will start on December 29 and the qualifying one – on December 27.

Last year Tatishvili was in the main draw and lost to Angelique Kerber of Germany 2:6, 6:4, 6:2. This time Anna needs to win three matches in the qualifying round.

Prize money of “Brisbane International” is one million USD and Serena Williams is its current champion. The American is No.1 seed again.
