The Georgian top seed participated in the French Open but in the first round she lost to world No.1 Serena Williams of America 0:6, 1:6. Anna did not have to defend points at “Roland Garros”.
Tatishvili will compete in doubles draw of the Paris tournament. Anna and Olga Govortsova of Belarus will play against the French – Stephanie Foretz Gacon and Irena Pavlovic.
Another Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova will also compete in doubles draw. In the first round the Georgian and Alicja Rosolska of Poland will play against Irina Buryachok of Ukraine and Heather Watson of Great Britain.
Kalashnikova also advanced on the ranking. She is in the 307th place with 146 points. Sofia Shapatava is in the 255th place with 212 points.

Kalashnikova has the best result in doubles draw from the Georgians. She is in the 96th place with 879 points. As for Tatishvili, she is in the 156th place with 466 points.
Chakhnashvili was trying to make through to the main draw of the Grado tournament (Italy, 25 000 USD). No.7 seed Georgian tennis player lost to Jasmine Paolini of Italy 2:6, 7:5, 6:7 (5:7).
Sofia Shapatava is in Moscow. She will play in the main draw of the tournament (25 000 USD). Her opponent will be found out after the end of the qualifying draw.
Two Georgian tennis players will participate in the Adana tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD). Ana Kadagidze and Mariam Bolkvadze will play against each other in the first round.
In ¼ final of doubles draw Kadagidze and Pokras of Estonia will play against No.4 seed Ukrainian-Slovak duet. Bolkvadze and Unlugenc of Turkey will play against No.3 seed Munozova of Sweden and Myers of Australia.
