Georgian Cup has started at Nona Gaprindashvili Chess Palace. After four rounds 6 participants are leading with 3.5 points.
Levan Pantsulaia, Shota Azaladze, Aleksandre Kashashvili, Luka Paichadze, Gaioz Nigalidze and Bachana Morchiashvili played only one draw and are ahead of their opponents.
Nino Khurtsidze, Salome Siradze, Sophiko Khukhashvili and Aleksandra Vakhania advanced with 3-3 points at women’s tournament.
In the 5th round Azaladze will play against Pantsulaia, Kashashvili – against Paichadze and Nigalidze – against Morchiashvili.
Nine rounds will be held at the tournament and it will end up on October 22.
