Giorgi Shermadini, Georgian center of “Zaragoza”, earned 19 points and 8 rebounds in the game against “Real” Madrid and had the best coefficient (30) in the both clubs. However, the Aragons could not save the game.  

The previous game was held in semifinal of Spanish Cup. “Real” was a favorite and finally, won 98:66.

Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze, another Georgian legionary of “Zaragoza”, were in lineup. The Georgian center earned 19 points, 8 rebounds and 2 blocks in 24:53 minutes. Giorgi scored 7 from 8 2 points and all 5 free throws. He had 2 turnovers, received 2 personal fouls and 6 fouls were committed against him.

As for Sanikidze, he gained 7 points, 6 rebounds and 1 block in 26:28 minutes. The Georgian forward scored 1 from 3 2 points and 5 from  6 free throws. He missed 2 3 points, had 3 turnovers, committed 2 fouls and 6 fouls were committed against him. It is interesting that Viktor had 9 coefficients and was the second after Giorgi.

“Real” had advantage in all components. The club used 10 3 points and had only 7 turnovers.

As it was expected, “Real” will face “Barcelona” in the final of Spanish Cup. “Barcelona” ousted “Valencia”.
