Giorgi Shermadini, Georgian recruit of “Zaragoza” Spanish, held his first match in the new club and showed himself perfectly.

In the preparatory circle of new season, “Zaragoza” played against “Tarbes” France and won 89:83 (25:19, 21:19, 23:19, 20:26). Shermadini was in the start five and had the best showing in the lines of both teams.

In 20:05 minutes, Giorgi scored 21 points, 4 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 steal. The Georgian basketball player scored 9 of 12 and all 3 free throws, made one error and he had also personal foul and twice fined against him.

As far as you know, recently, another leader of Georgian national team, Viktor Sanikidze, signed contract with “Zaragoza”. He will join the team in the coming days and will also be involved in the preparatory games.
