Tornike Shengelia, forward of Georgian national team, signed 3-year contract with Spanish “Laboral Kutxa”. So far, the Basque club does not confirm this information on their website, however, such well-known websites are spreading this information as are Eurohoops.net and Sportando.com.

Recall, that the Spanish club expressed an interest in Shengelia after he left NBA and became a free agent. “Laboral Kutxa” officially offered Shengelia a contract and finally received a positive response.

As it turns out, during the next 3 years, Shengelia will receive 2.1 million Euros and he will become one of the highest paid basketball players of the Basque club.

Recall that “Laboral Kutxa” is in the ¼ final of the Spanish Championship and will face Catalan “Barcelona”. The first match of the series will take place in Barcelona today.
