Shengelia Plays for "Boston"

A great deal was held between NBA clubs “Boston Celtics” and “Brooklyn Nets”. This deal is interesting for Georgian fans. Tornike Shengelia, forward of the Georgian national team, who did not have enough time to play for “Brooklyn” in the previous season, transferred to “Boston”.

Kevin Garnett and Paul Pierce, leaders of “Celtics”, were main participants of the deal. Besides Shengelia, “Celtics” transferred forwards Kris Humphries, Reggie Evans and Gerald Wallace and guard Keith Bogans.

Jason Terry transferred to “Nets”. “Boston” added Kris Joseph and has a draft choice of 2014, 2016 and 2018. The details of the deal are agreed on and it will be officially signed on July 10.
