Two Georgian tennis players will play in the 1/4 final of the international tournament which will be held in the city of Uzbekistan, Namangan. Sopho Shapatava and Oksana Kalashnikova won the second round matched and afterwards it became famous. 

Shapatava No.7 beat Russian Polina Vonogradova 6:1, 2:6, 7:6 (7:3) one of the winners of qualification. In the quarter-final she plays against No.4 ranking Ukrainian Nadia Kichenok.

Oksana Kalashnikova plays against No.3 ranking Russian Ekaterina Bihckova for going through the 1/5 final. In the last round Bichkova beat twin sister of mentioned Nadya Kichenok. Georgian player was to beat Ukrainian 6:4, 3:0 when the opponent got injury and could not go on playing.

Due to the same reason, No.1 Kichenok duet could not go on competing in double too, which was in favor of Shapatava and Uzbek Nigina Abduraimov, who went through the semi-final without playing.

Georgian and Uzbek player will fight for the final against Ukrainian Vasileva and Uzbek Khaibubulina.
