Dual power is over in Georgian Futsal world. Football Federation’s legal department confirmed that Vakhtang Tsereteli is the president of the Association. As you know, on December 15 GFA election-reporting conference was held, at which Vakhtang Tsereteli was chosen as new president for 4 years. Within a week, association meeting was held by the group, which was headed by current president Levan Tskitishvili. The congress elected Tskitishvili as a president again. So, we had two presidents at the same time. Head of the GFF legal department Keso Chkhikvadze, on behalf of the Federation, addressed with official letter to the GFA president Vakhtang Tsereteli and we offer it invariably:

“Due to the infighting in Futsal Association, which prevented and was inhibiting the environment for the Futsal functioning, in accordance with the regulation, the Georgian Football Federation made a decision about suspending membership of the Futsal Association in the federation. Also requested arrangement of sporting and legal issues from the Association.

Independent legal entity Futsal Association hold extraordinary elections at the end of 2013 and as extraction of national agency of Georgian Public Registry confirms ((B14000845 I.C. 202207290), Vakhtang Tsereteli is elected as the Association president.

Legal department of Georgian Football Federation appeals to you with the request:  present Futsal development program in shortest time, plans of overcoming inside problems and new version of Futsal charter, which satisfies GFF, FIFA and UEFA standards. Please, provide us with the above listed projects, as the juridical committee can present the executive bodies of the Georgian Football Federation the report of your work”.
