In the 5th round game of Eurocup “Zaragoza” of Giorgi Shermadini and Viktor Sanikidze visited “Gravelines Dunkerque” of France and lost. Before the last quarter the Spanish club was winning with 7 points (62:55) but lost 5:30 (!). Finally, “Zaragoza” lost 67:85.
The both Georgian basketball players were in lineup. Sanikidze earned 9 points, 8 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block.
The Georgian forward scored 3 from 7 2 points and 3 points in 24:33. He had three turnovers and 2 fouls were committed against him.
Shermadini earned 5 points, 5 rebounds, 1 assist, 1 steal and 1 block in 19:55 minutes. Giorgi scored 2 from 5 2 points and 1 from 2 free throws. Giorgi had 4 turnovers, received 4 personal fouls and 4 fouls were committed against him.
Pere Tomas was the best in “Zaragoza” with 16 points. Jonathan Rousselle and J Kennedy were the best in “Gravelines” with 21 and 20 points.
The club of the Georgians have 2 wins and 3 losses and is ahead only outsider “Mons”. On 20 November “Zaragoza” will visit the Belgians.
