In Russia Passing through Turkey

 

Georgian national judo team will leav for Turkey. The team trained by Irakli Uznadze leaves for Antalya for holding the meeting before competing at international tournament. The capital of Russia hosts this prestigue tournament on May 25-26. 16-16 of each wight category who has the best ranking will compete at this tournament. Uznadze took in Turkey those players who will compete in Russia. Besides them he took Nugzar Tatalashvili (73kg) and Levan Zhorzholiani (100kg), who are in master's reserve team and they will recieve invitation, if the main members of the team cannot arrive there. Refuse even from one competitor is enough for Tatalashvili (73kg), he is in the 17th place in world ranking. As for Zhorzholiani who is in th 25th place, has less chances.

Shalva Kardava (66kg, 24 rank) is also in the reserve team, is not among the players who left from Turkey, due to making some documents, if he takes the place in the team he will compete at the tournament. 

The staff which left for Antalya contains the following players: Amiran Papinashvili (60kg), Lasha Shavdatuashvili (66kg), Nugzar Tatalashvili, Zebeda Rkhviashvili (both of them 73kg), Avtandil Chrikishvili,Levan Tsiklauri (both of them 81kg), Varlam Lipartliani, Zviad Gogochuri (both of them 90kg), Levan Zhorzholiani (100kg) and Adam Okruashvili (+100kg).

After ending World Masters, Georgian national team leaves for South Korea for holding another meeting. 

The main tournament of the season- before World Championship,which is held on August 26-31 in Rio-d-Janeiro, there will be held Georgian-Belarusian and Georgian-Spanish meetings and also will be held minimum two Georgian meetings. Uznadze's team will hold the final meeting before the middle of August, in Brazil.
