Georgian "Greco-Romans" Could not Win World Medal

The Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling finished World Championship without medal. All seven members of the Georgian team lost the first round.

Today champions and prize winners were found out in 66, 74 and 120 kg. Sachino Davitaia (66 kg), Ilia Gulbatashvili (74 kg) and Levan Arabuli (120 kg) wrestled in the name of Georgia.

Davitaia lost to Marius Blomstadli of Norway 2:3.

After beating Florian Neumaier of Germany (1:0) and Aleksandrs Visnakovs (5:3), Gulbatashvili lost to Mykola Daragan of Ukraine (0:7).

Arabuli defeated Mindaugas Mizgaitis of Lithuania (4:3) but lost to Eduard Popp of Germany (4:6).
