Georgians Ended Up in Top 10

 

Fidel Jimenes of Cuba became the winner of Philadelphia chess tournament, he gained 7.0 points in 9 rounds. He beat Daniel Naroditsk (2427) of USA with additional points.

Mikheil Kekelidze (2488) was behind leaders with 0.5 points and took the fourth place. Another Georgian chess players Giorgi Margvelashvili (2565) took the 10th place with 6.0 points.

As we were reporting, Zviad Izoria (2583) also was playing at Philadelphia, but he was representative of the USA. He also gained 6 points and he was in the 7th place with additional points.

 The champion won 4827 USD, Kekelidze 953 USD and Margvelashvili 409 USD.
