Unfortunately, this victory turned out to be last for the Georgian. He defeated against Esley Gonzalez of Cuba and because of this he could not reach the pedestal. For his part, Gonzalez took revenge to the Georgian, because of his defeat in the Paris International Tournament, then Liparteliani won by method and now the fate of the game decided only one warning. During 5 minutes, referee cautioned the Georgian twice and once the Cuban.

As far as you know, Gonzalez won over Jarji Zviadauri (Ilias Iliadis) of Greece in the semifinal.

In the 90 kg weight category, 60 judokas signed up for the tournament. #1 seed participant joined the competition from the 2^nd circle and won over French Ludovic Gobert by waza-ari at the 4^th minute. In the 1/8 final, he defeated German Marc Odenthal with a beautiful throw in a mine and a half. In the ¼ final defeated Swedish Joakim Dvarby.

World champions and prize winners in 100 and +100 kg weight categories will be known on August 31. Levan Zhorzholiani (100 kg ) and Adam Okruashvili (+100 kg) will wrestle in the name of Georgia.

Zhorzholiani will join the copmpetition from the 2^nd circle (1/16final). Before him, Stefan Ombiongo of Cameroon and Audasio Kambamba of Angola will wreslte and the winner among them will face to Georgian.

31 judokas will compete in this weight category and the tournament will start from the 1/16 final. Derek Sua of Samoa will be the first opponent of Okruashvili. In case of victory, the Georgian will play against the winner among Maciej Sarnacki of Poland and Denis Silva of Angola.
