Paichadze and Azaladze are a Point Behind the Leaders

 

 

At Bulgarian Open Chess tournament which is also Georgi Tringov memorial two players advanced with the maximum points in 5 rounds: Brazilian Aleksandr Fier (2577) and Pole Bartlomey Heberla (2545).
Georgian chess players Shota Azaladze (2466) and Luka Paichadze (2520) are behind leaders with one-one point, according to the additional points they are in the 14th and 22nd points.
In the 5th round Azaladze played draw with Romanian Mirchea-Emilian Parligras (2633), as for Paichadze,  he beat Bulgarian Boil Banov (2211) with black pieces.
In the next round Paichadze plays against another Bulgarian Dimitar Marholev (2333) with white pieces, Azaladze plays against Greek Vasilis Bunis (2253) with black pieces.

Salome Khazhomia also plays in Plovdiv (2180), in the last round she beat Greek Georgius Deludis (1768) and she is in the 98th place with 3.0 points. Her future opponent is Bulgarian Nikolay Khristov (1917).
By the way, Bulgarian championship is held according to 9-roudn Swiss system and its prize money is 10 000 EUR.
