Revaz Lashkhi (60 kg), Soso Jabidze (96kg) and Guram Parseladze (120 kg) the members of Georgian National Greco-Roman Team won the first matches at European Wrestling Championship, which is underway at Tbilisi Sports Palace.
Lashkhi beat Serbian Christian Pris in two periods 5:1, 4:1 and went through the 1/8 final, where he wrestles against Croatian Tonimir Sokol.
Jabidze beat Ukrainian Vladimir Vasuliev (6:3, 2:0) in two periods and in the 1/8 final he wrestles against European champion, Armenian Artur Aleksanyan.
Perseladze had the strongest opponent- he beat Esto Heyk the finalist of London Olympic Games in two periods (1:0, 1:0) and in the 1;8 final he wrestles against Croatian Marko Koshkevic.
Lasha Gogitidze (55 kg) starts competition in 1;8 final of the tournament against Patih Uchunku.
