Georgian tennis player Oksana Kalashnikova will play in semifinal of the Namangan tournament (Uzbekistan, 25 000 USD).

Oksana played only in the first round. After that, her two opponents retired because of injury.

In ¼ final Kalashnikova was beating No.3 seed Ekaterina Bychkova of Russia 7:6 (7:5), 2:0 when the Russian retired.

In semifinal Oksana will play against No.2 seed Cagla Buyukakcay of Turkey. Alexandra Panova of Russia and Lyudmyla Kichenok of Ukraine will play in the second semifinal.

In the previous round Kichenok defeated Sofia Shapatava 6:0, 6:7 (2:7), 6:4.

In semifinal of doubles draw Shapatava and Uzbek Abduraimova lost to Ukrainian Vasylyeva and Uzbek Khabibulina 6:4, 2:6, 0:10.
