The last champion and prize winners were found out in heavyweight at World Masters in Tyumen. The most prestigious tournament ended up with anthem of Georgia. Adam Okruashvili, member of Irakli Uznadze’s team, won three fights and earned 700 ranking points with gold medal. Avtandil Chrikishvili (81kg) and Varlam Liparteliani (90kg) won bronze medals and earned 280-280 ranking points.

Okruashvili started participation from ¼ final and defeated Oscar Bryson of Cuba in 3 minutes. In semifinal the Georgian heavyweight won over Walter Santos of Brazil by ippon.

Okruashvili wrestled against Rafael Silva of Brazil. The Georgian-Brazilian final ended up in four minutes and half. The Georgian heavyweight gained yuko and waza-ari.

Okruashvili will advance on world ranking. The Georgian was in the fourth place and now he will move up in the second place. Avtandil Chrikishvili and Varlam Liparteliani gained 280-280 points.

Chrikishvili started participation from ¼ final but he lost gold-silver chance to Murat Khabachirov of Russia.

In repechage semifinal Chrikishvili defeated Sirazhudin Magomedov of Russia by waza-ari-yuko. In final the Georgian beat Antoine Valois-Fortier of Canada by yuko.

Unlike Okruashvili, Varlam Liparteliani could not take revenge over his opponent. He lost to Kirill Denisov of Russia in semifinal. Liparteliani lost to the Russian in the final of European Championship.

In the first round Varlam Liparteliani defeated Grigory Sulemin of Russia by waza-ari. Then, he won over Shohei Shimowada of Japan by two waza-aris.

Levan Tsiklauri lost to Keita Nagashima of Japan in 1/8 final. Zviad Gogochuri and Irine Leonidze wrestled only once. Gogochuri lost to Asley Gonzalez of Cuba 1:3. Leonidze lost to Song Yu of China in three minutes and half.
