As you know, the first day of European Wrestling championship was unlucky for Georgian wrestlers. Konstantine Khabelashvili (66kg) and Elizbar Odikadze (86kg) have already finishied competition. Unfortunately, both of them lost with the members of Russian National Wrestling Team- Ilias Bekbulatov and Vladislav Baitsaev.

Odikadze in a talk with "World Sport" stated the reason of his failure was unfair refereeing, as for Khabelashvili and the coaches of the team, they did not make any comments.

"World Sport" talked to Nugzar Skhireli, who was the coach of the three members of Georgian Wrestling Team- Khabelashvili, Khinchegashvili and Geno Petriashvili. 

-  How do you think, what is the reason of the failure of Khabelashvili?

-   No one than a private coach knows better how to prepare the sportsman for the tournament. If I I was allowded to work with him, he would prepare better for the tournament. To my mind, the reason of his failure was a wrong tactic.

-     What about Odikadze?

-    Elizbar was one of the candidates, who could win gold medal, but he could not, because most favorites were seeded in his draw.Unfortunately, in the third period he was already tired and due to a yellow card he stopped competition at this tournament.
