Viktor Sanikidze, forward of the Georgian national team, may transfer to a new club. Sportando.net reports that “Montepaschi”, current champion of Italy, is not going to continue contract with the 27-year-old Georgian basketball player. However this issue is not decided yet.

In the previous season Sanikidze held 48 games in “Montepaschi” and averagely had 5.5 points and 4.8 rebounds.

According to the same website, “Montepaschi” extended contract with 30-year-old Ben Ortner of Austria. 35-year-old Marco Carraretto may also be dismissed from the club.
