On December 3, Levan Kipiani, minister of Sport and Youth Affairs, met the new Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of China in Georgia.

The sides discussed future cooperation issues at the introductory meeting, including fields of sports and youth. There were talks also about the joint practices in various kind of sports.

Minister and Ambassador also discussed organizational issues of Tbilisi Olympic Festival 2015. After the official meeting they surveyed the Olympic Village of Youth Olympic Festival 2015, which is building in the Tbilisi Sea area.

Chinese corporate group “Hualing” makes this Olympic Village and Complex for the Tbilisi Olympic Festival.

Olympic Village would be ready by 2015.

In the area of Tbilisi Sea, 8 residential buildings and 5-star hotels for the participants of Olympiad are being built.
