Metreveli Overcame the First Circle, Now It's Tsivadze's Turn

Aleksandre Metreveli beat Russian Fiodor Cherviakov 6:4, 6:3 in the first round of Shimkent tournament (Kazakhstan, 10 000 USD) and in 1/8 final plays against the winner among Russian Ivan Nedelko and Belarusian Andrey Novikov.

Giorgi Tsivadze made through to the main draw. He was winning over Russian Alan Bzarov 3:1 in the decisive circle, when the opponent was unable to continue play. Russian Kiril Dmitriev will be the next opponent of the Georgian.

Giorgi Javakhishvili could not reach the goal. He lost to Russian Ilia Lebedev 4:6, 0:6.

In the doubles tournament Metreveli and Kazakh Denis Yevseev will face Estonian-Russian duet (Ivanov-Nedelko).
