Davit Marsagishvili, member of Georgian freestyle wrestling team, is through to final. In semifinal current European champion beat two-time European champion Urishev of Russia in two periods.

Marsagishvili won the first period because his opponent was passive. In the second period the Georgian won 4:2. Urishev gained the first point. Then, Marsagishvili earned 3 points which the Russian protested but were punished with one point. At the end of the period the Russian minimized the difference to 2 points.

Head coach of the Russian team got angry and wanted to hit referee but soon situation calmed down.

In final Davit Marsagishvili will wrestle against Musa Murtazaliev of Armenia. The final will start at 18:00.
