The basketball players of the Georgian national team held games in Euroleague Top 16. Manuchar Markoishvili, Giorgi Shermadini and Ricky Hickman showed up in lineups of “Galatasaray”, “Olympiacos” and “Maccabi”.
“Galatasaray” Istanbul celebrated the most important victory over “Zalgiris” in Kaunas. The club of Markoishvili won the first quarter 20:12 and finally, won the game 84:72.
Manuchar earned 13 points, 2 rebounds, 2 assists and 2 steals in 25:20 minutes. The Georgian guard scored 2 from 3 2 points and 3 from 6 3 points. He did not have any turnover, received 4 personal fouls and one foul was committed against him.
“Galatasaray” has 6 wins and 6 losses. The club is in the 4th place and will play in playoff.
In Group F “Maccabi” is in the third place with 7 wins and 5 losses. The club lost to “Real” Madrid 76:77.

In Group E “Olympiacos” of Giorgi Shermadini easily beat “Unicaja” 80:63.
The Georgian basketball player played 18:06 minutes. He gained 6 points, 1 rebound and 2 assists. Shermadini received 4 personal fouls and 2 fouls were committed against him.
“Olympiacos” defeated the Spanish club 28:18 in the first quarter and the hosts did not have a chance of success.
