Iakob Makarashvili, member of the Georgian freestyle wrestling team, lost gold-silver chance in the second round of World Championship which is under way in Budapest. The Georgian wrestler (74 kg) lost to Ezzatollah Akbari of Iran 7:0.

In the first round Makarashvili defeated Evan James MacDonald of Canada – 8:5.

If the Iranian makes through to final, Iakob Makarashvili will wrestle for bronze medal in repechage.
