Irakli Maisuradze, Georgian legionary of “Valletta”, believed that his club would win the championship and Cup in Malta.

“I believed we would win the prizes because we have been working hard during the whole season. On Saturday we defeated “Birkirkara” 2:0 and became champions. Then we defeated “Sliema” 1:0 and won another prize. We are champions and Cup’s winners – we earned brace” – the Maltese portals cite the words of Maisuradze.

The 25-year-old Maisuradze transferred from “Dila” Gori to “Valletta” in winter. He held 11 matches.
