Georgian National Basketball Team was honored by one of the leading players of Poland Maciej Lampe. Polish center was objective when saying that he was happy by the fact that Poland has “just” gathered two points.

I do not think that this was our best game; however, we managed to beat a tough opponent, which was our goal. I do not think that 9 point victory is a small margin. Maybe in the end these two points will be enough for the final goal.

- Despite this, everyone was talking about neutralizing Tbilisi 19 point deficit.

- I was thinking about this as well. That is why I was looking towards the scoreboard that often. There was a moment when we were close to accomplishing the aim. However, this was a reason of why we could not concentrate. We decided to play very fast for which we were punished.

- Indeed it is a strange situation. We were winning but satisfaction was not present.

- I have experienced this kind of situation before, when playing in European Cup matches. I do not like this system, but cannot do anything about it.

- What has changed in our team since the first game against Georgia?

- I assume the main thing was that we performed in front of our supporters. This was why we won despite not so good performance.

- We are awaiting very difficult games; moreover, we are yet to celebrate victory away from home.

- We were not expecting an easy way through. I promise that we will do everything we can in order to achieve the desirable result in the end.

- Among the remaining matches, which one will be the most difficult?

Perhaps we will struggle in Belgium however neither games against Portugal nor Bulgaria will be easy.

- Despite the hard word we could not eliminate Georgia’s the 19 point advantage. Could it be possible that this will be a decisive factor of the final standings?

- No doubt. If we would have won by a big margin yesterday we were ahead of Georgia in the group. Unfortunately now we are no more depended on ourselves only. We should hope that other matches will finish with a satisfied result for us.
