"Upon this match we were in a very strange situation. Polish national team always goes out to win, but this time we knew that we had to reduce 19 point deficit. This brought us to a final result that we all know. Instead of winning by 14-16 points, we only won by nine.”- These words are said by one of the Polish national team leader Lukasz Koszarek after the game against Georgia. Once again it could be said that Polish side is not satisfied with the result in despite of the yesterday’s victory.

A following interview between Polish journalist and Koszarek was processed by taking into account a head to head factor with Georgia.

- Unfortunately we could not cover Tbilisi 19-point margin…

- Sorry, but it would not be right to pay whole attention to this fact. We won, which is great.

- However it was clear that during the last seconds of the game, covering this margin was going through your mind.

- No doubt it was so. When you are winning the game by 14-16 points, covering the 19-point margin is not far away. However, weakness did not not a good job for us. We have missed a lot of three pointers. In the end, Georgians played wisely.

- Before the 4 and a half minutes to go you were ahead by 16 points. Simultaneously you have decided to attack faster and tried to score not so important three pointers. I assume that this was not a right decision.

- It is true, but the factor of this was a unique situation. We were thinking about 19-point victory; however, we were not sure if we could have done it in the remaining time without going wild. That is why we decided to counter attack and shot three pointers. The outcome of this was that the point difference closed up to nine.

- Now we should play two out of three matches away from home. Upon today, we lost both away games…

- Currently we are on a stage, when it is not significant where we will play. Everything is simple, if we want to participate in the final tournament we should win them all.

- That is correct, however, the group situation is so that these three victories may not be enough fot the qualification from the group…

- Unfortunately we cannot make an influence on any other game. We should just hope that the games of our opponents will finish with a result that will satisfy us.

- The match against Georgia was very important. It seemed from a very start of the game that you came out on the floor to fight. What was a pre-match atmosphere in the team locker?

- I cannot unveil you everything. Trust me that we were ready for the game. Losing of this game was excluded.

- Hopefully this atmosphere will remain in the next games also…

- I can promise that to you with the boys’ names.
