According to Azerbaijani azasport.az, Giorgi Lomaia, goalkeeper of “Inter” Baku, was punished and that is why he cannot get in lineups of the last rounds.

“The reason why Giorgi Lomaia, goalkeeper of “Inter”, does not play in lineup is found out. He was substituted by compatriot Revaz Tevdoradze because of bad play in the last matches. The former goalkeeper of the Georgian national team made mistakes in ¼ final of Cup and his club lost a chance to play in semifinal. He could not prevent Aleksandar Solic and Shahriyar Aliyev from scoring goal. Lomaia was considered one of the reasons why “Inter” could not make through to semifinal. That is why Tevdoradze was given a chance to play against “Gabala” in play off and in the last two rounds. The 25-year-old goalkeeper seemed did not justify hope against “Qarabag” (2:3)”, - informs azasport.az.
