Levan Kenia: "I Am still Ready for Play"

Attacking midfielder of “Fortuna” Dusseldorf Levan Kenia announced that he is ready for play. German press reports about this.

“I had personal problems. When I decided to train again after two weeks, traumas added. It was a difficult period when I was not with the team. However, now I am ready for play”- said Kenia.

Before leaving for Spain “Fortuna” lost to “Leverkusen” 0:4 and 23-year-old Georgian player has not played.

“After serious traumas, I had a pain in my muscles. I had consultations with doctor” – mentioned Kenia.

On Friday “Fortuna” will play against “Alianza” Lima and Kenia may play against Peruvian team.

In his interview with German press, the Georgian stressed that he has played as a defensive midfielder, but he cannot reveal his best qualities on this position:

“I have played on this position, but I was not able to use my strong sides properly”.

Kenia thinks that the opponents should respect more “Fortuna” in the second circle:

“We still have to earn some respect from our opponents. It happened not very often in the first round”.

New head coach of “Firtuna” Lorenz-Gunther Kostner demands more playing discipline and “just” playing form the players. The following comment made the Georgian about this:

“The coach does not want me to carry the ball so much. However, I am the player who first of all gets pleasure from the game. Discipline is good, but it should not be excessive. I have to be more careful now”.
