Latvian internet edition sportacentrs.com named Tamaz Pertia as the best coach of the previous Virsliga. Two Georgian football players Mamuka Ghonghadze and Giorgi Chikhradze got in the symbolic team of the same portal.

Pertia started season by coaching “Daugava” Daugavpils but when the management of the club changed he left the club and went to “Olimps”. Aleksandre Rekhviashvili is a director of this club. “Olimps” ended up participation in Virsliga but sportacentrs.com made its choice on Georgian specialist.

“Daugava” took the third place in Virsliga. Ghonghadze and Chikhradze played key roles in it. Ghonghadze scored 21 goals in 25 matches. Chikhradze scored only one goal in 26 matches.
