Boxing World Championship continues in Almaty (Kazakhstan). Another 3 Georgian sportsmen participated on the ring and only one of them has achieved success.
Zaal Kvachatadze (69kg) had a clear advantage against Tarindu Gedara (Sri Lanka) and his victory has never been questioned. On October 20, in the 2nd circle, Georgian boxer will compete against #1 seed Welsh boxer Fred Evans.
Giorgi Gogatishvili (60kg) lost to Danielo de la Rosa (Puerto Rico) and Iago Kiziria could not handle with Serg Mikhel (German).
Avtandil Chubabria (56kg) will be on the ring on October 17 and his opponent will be Italian Jahin Parinello. On October 18, Levan Guledani (91kg), who has already one victory, will compete with Italian Clemente Russo.
Most later, on October 19, Jaba Khositashvili (75kg) and Mikheil Bakhtidze (+91kg) will join the World Championship.
Khositashvili will face better between Ebhiset Khankhokhrea of Thailand and Hosam Abdin of Egypt. As for Bakhtidze, he will compete with Jan Sudzilowski of Belarus.
