Vladimer Khinchegashvili won bronze medal in 60kg at European Championship. In repechage final the Georgian sportsman defeated Munir Recep Aktas of Turkey 3:1 in the first period. In the second period Vladimer gained 6 points in 55 seconds.

Khinchegashvili lost to Opan Sat of Russia in semifinal of the main draw. Before that, the Georgian defeated Aleksei Baskakov of Estonia and Haji Aliyev of Azerbaijan.
