In the first match of Europa League 1/16 final, “Dnipro” Dnipropetrovsk of two Georgian football players Jaba Kankava and Sandro Kobakhidze lost to Swiss “Basel” 0:2.
Kankava started playing at the 69th minute. Kobakhidze was a substitute. Valentine Stocker scored the first goal at the 23th minute. Marco Streller scored the second goal at the 68th minute.
“Rubin” Kazan of Solomon Kvirkvelia defeated “Atletico” Madrid 2:0. The Georgian central defender was not on the list.
Matches of Europa League will be held on February 21.
