No.1 seed duet of Georgian Oksana Kalashnikova and Ksenia Palkina of Kyrgyzstan justified status of favorite and won the Antalya tournament (Turkey, 10 000 USD).

Kalashnikova and Palkina celebrated four victories. The Georgian-Kyrgyz pair beat Bulgarians Botusharova and Zlatanova – 7:6 (7:3), 6:2, Swedish-American tandem (Hamlin-Wong) – 6:1, 6:3. In semifinal they defeated Sofia Shapatava and Ekaterine Gorgodze 6:2, 7:6 (7:5). In final Oksana and Ksenia won over Americans – Bhargava and Melichar 6:1, 6:3.

The Georgian tennis players played in singles draw too. Shapatava had the best result. Sofia made through to ¼ final where she lost to Bogdan of Romania 1:6, 6:2, 1:6.
