Irakli Uznadze: "I Am not Dissatisfied"

Irakli Uznadze, head coach of Georgian judo team, thinks competition of his judokas in Tbilisi international tournament was successful. Uznadze evaluated European Open in conversation with “World Sport”.

“I cannot say I did not expect better result but I am not dissatisfied with this result. The boys did their best and overall, they wresteld well. If not some unpleasant moments, we would have made fans happy with more medals. We adapted new rules but there were some exceptions. Levan Tsiklauri and Tornike Tatarashvili were punished because of considering new rules. In spite of that, we won two medals in 100kg. We will participate in some tournament before European Championship and we will improve our wrestling style. I think we are working on it well. Paris “Grand Slam” will be held next weekend. I will take 14 sportsmen to Paris. I will name them on Tuesday”, - stated Irakli Uznadze.
