“Hajduk” played 3:3 with “Slaven Belupo” in the previous round of the Croatian Championship. Iluridze was in lineup and was substituted at the 24th minute. According to slobodnadalmacija, Igor Tudor, head coach of “Hajduk” got angry with the Georgian midfielder and stated:
“Why you said to me you can play when you cannot…”
Iluridze had muscles injury and could not play well. That is why Tudor substituted him.
Iluridze is called up for U-21 team which will play Scotland on 14 November and Slovakia on 18 November. Giorgi cannot depart for Scotland because he does not have a British visa. But he can play Slovakia.
