On 1 October Georgian futsal club “Iberia Star” will start participation in the main round of UEFA Cup and will fight for making through to elite round. It has never been tough for the champion of Georgia to overcome the mentioned round but because of recent unpleasant changes, it will get tougher now.
All legionaries left the Georgian club because of financial problems. Now the club will fight with local players.
“Iberia Star” is in the second group where its opponents are “Varna” of Bulgaria, “Sarajevo” of Bosnia and Herzegovina and “Gyori” of Hungary.
“Magvassy Mihaly Sports Hall” will host the matches. On 1 October “Iberia Star” will face “Varna” at 18:30 Tbilisi time. On 2 October it will play “Sarajevo”. “Gyori and “Iberia Star” will face each other at 21:30 on 4 October.

Two-two best clubs will make through to elite round. So, 12 best clubs will compete in the next round.
