Georgian women’s chess team is holding one-week meeting in Bakuriani. The team settled at “Victoria” hotel.

Sopo Nikoladze, head of press office of Georgian Chess Federation, informed “World Sport” with this information.

According to her, Bela Khotenashvili, Nino Khurtsidze and Salome Melia left for the meeting with coaches Zurab Sturua and Lasha Janjgava. Nana Dzagnidze, Lela Javakhishvili and captain Nino Gurieli will join the group in two days.

This meeting is for preparation of World Team Championship which will be hosted by the capital of Kazakhstan, Astana, on March 2-13. Besides Georgia, Russia, China, Ukraine, the USA, India, Armenia, Romania, Kazakhstan and Turkey will compete in the tournament.
