Georgian tennis player Ekaterine Gorgodze stayed beyond the Ankara tournament (Turkey, 50 000 USD). In the first round she lost to French Amandin Hese 2:6, 0:6.

In the initial circle of the doubles tournament Gorgodze and Turkish Inchi Ogut lost to Greek Eleni Danilidus and Serbian Aleksandra Krunic 6:4, 0:6, 5:10.

Georgia’s No.1 seed Nikoloz Basilashvili participates at the Doha tournament (Qatar, 10 000 USD).

As we already informed, Basilashvili won over Chinese Chuhuan Vang 6:4, 6:4 in the first meeting of singles tournament and in the 1/8 final will face the best between Abdula al Mohamud of Qatar and British Toby Martin.

In the doubles tournament, Basilashvili and Belarusian Yahor Yatsuk overcame Abdula al-Jufairi and Abdula Shanan Alharash of Qatar 6:3, 6:3. In the ¼ final they will play against British tandem – Martini and Scott Clayton.
