"Gold Grand Prix" of Silver-Bronze

 

Georgian Greco-Roman wrestling team won two medals at “Gold Grand Prix” – Vehbi Emre Memorial which was hosted by Istanbul. Revaz Nadareishvili (84kg) and Mikheil Kajaia (96kg) stood on the pedestal. Nadareishvili won silver medal. In final he lost to Cebi of Turkey. Kajaia took the third place.

The Georgian team included 16 sportsmen. Head coach Begi Darchia filled the list with silver and bronze medal winners of Georgian Championship. The champions and experienced members of the team will compete in the same tournament in the city of Hungary, Szombathely, on February 23-24. After two “Gold Grand Prixes” will name those 7 sportsmen who will participate in European Championship on March 19-24 in Tbilisi.
