Giorgi Iluridze signed 2-year contract with “Ermis” of Cyprus. Giorgi provided “World Sport” with this information. In the previous round “Ermis” took the fourth place and won a right to play at European tournaments.
Giorgi told us, besides “Ermis”, he had offers from “Dinamo” Tbilisi and “Zestafoni”:
“Dinamo” Tbilisi offered me such conditions that I refused. Then, “Ermis” showed up and I did not discuss “Zestafoni”. But then I learnt “Zestafoni” had offered better conditions than “Dinamo” and “Ermis”. The team is gathering on June 25 and I am solving visa issues now. I think it is a good start for my career. “Ermis” will play at European tournaments and it is good”.
Last year Iluridze transferred from “Dila” Gori to “Hajduk” Split. The contract between the Georgian and “Hajduk” broke two months ago.
This summer a lot of Georgians went to Cyprus: Levan Kakubava, Shota Grigalashvili, Irakli Maisuradze, Giorgi Aburjania, and now Iluridze joined them.
