Giorgi Dzadzamia is without a team currently. 25-year-old goalkeeper left “Guria” Lanchkhuti this summer and the reasons are known. In 2010, when Dzadzamia was in “Wit Georgia”, Temur Ketsbaia had him in the extended lineup of the national team and he was also training for the match against Slovenia.
“World Sport” contacted Dzadzamia:
- I train twice now and I am going to the 35th football school for prepare. I have 3 kilograms of extra weight, but I will correct this soon. I am waiting for an offers from the teams in winter.
- After leaving “Guria”, did you have any offers?
- It was, but from the teams of First League. Every team was completed in the Super League and nobody wanted to pay for the 3rd goalkeepr.
- Many things were written about what happened in “Guria”, but what reasons made you left it?
- Delaying salaries has begun. I hate relationships built on lies. We, players, understood it for a long time, we were working and doing our best and after a long time the team moved to the Super League. They did not see the respect. You know, the Championship was arranged so that only players should respect. The coaches and the leadership should also have such attitude.
- Are you satisfied about your play last season?
- Exception with the match against “Dinamo” Tbilisi, yes. Not the match, but that concrete moment, when I missed the 3rd goal. It is football and such things happens... I was devastated, how it happened to me. I think that in other matches I played normally.
- Some people say, that you are emotional. Does this disturb you?
- If you do not have emotions, then what football player are you? Moreover, the goalkeeper needs emotions. I will stay in the goal post and not even scream, will this be good? If you do not shout, dictate, what will come out. Then, what would they say about Oliver Kahn, he was involved in the game all time. I am emotional because I am mad of football and I hate loss.
