“Galatasaray” Istanbul of Georgian basketball player Manuchar Markoishvili is not going to play in the decisive 7th game of final series at the Turkish Championship.
The score is 3:3 and “Fenerbahce” Istanbul is to hold the decisive game on June 19. However, this game seems not to be held.
“Galatasaray” is dissatisfied with the decision of the Turkish Basketball Federation and referees.
According to head coach Ergin Ataman, victory was taken from “Gala” in the second game when referee did not count foul on Markoishvili at the last seconds and “Fener” earned decisive points.
Besides that, in the fourth game fans of “Galatasaray” were punished due to disorder and only women and children were allowed to attend the home game. Nobody punished fans of “Fenerbahce” due to the same behavior.
