Merab Gagunashvili (2556) and Levan Pantsulaia (2595) played draw in the 5^th round of the international tournament in Hyderabad, India.

In a result Georgian chess players gained 4-4 points and are in the 3^rd and 4^th places.

Another Georgian participant of the tournament Tornike Sanikidze (2553) played draw with Indian Shardul Gagare with black pieces and moved to the 21th place with 3.5 points.

All three Georgians will play with white pieces in the 6^th round. Pantsulaia will face Armenian Levon Babujyan (2510), Gagunashvili – Indian Santosh Gujrati Vidit (2582), Sanikidze – Indian Svaminatan Soumya (2348).

The tournament is held by the Swiss system. It has 11 rounds and will end on December 3. Russian Ivan Popov (2652) is #1 seed, Pantsulaia is the second, Gagunashvili – 9^th and Sanikidze is 10^th.
