European champion Esther Stam got a passport of Georgia. The judoka (70 kg) who became champion of Holland last year will wrestle in the name of Georgia at the upcoming international tournaments.

Stam expressed her will to wrestle in the Georgian team. When she received approval from the Dutch Judo Federation, then she relied to the Georgian Judo Federation.

Esther was born in 1987. She won the 2011 World Universiade. Before that she as a cadet won European gold twice. Esther  won 3 gold and 7 bronze at World Cups.
