Jobava Shares the First-Second Places

Georgian chess player Baadur Jobava (2710) played draw with Ivan Saric of Croatia (2637) in the 7th round of the Wijk aan Zee tournament. The Georgian and the Croatian are leading the tournament.  

Saric and Jobava have 5.5-5.5 points and are 0.5 point ahead of the third place Anna Muzychuk of Slovenia (2566).

In the 8th round the Georgian chess player will play with white pieces and Yangyi Yu of China (2677) will be his opponent. Saric will face one of the outsiders Merijn van Delft of Holland (2430). 

Tata Steel Challengers will end up on January 26.
